Dysphagia and hematemesis caused by an intramural esophageal dissection

Abstract
We report the case of a 60-year-old male with aggravated dysphagia and hematemesis. Severe esophageal mucosa defects and two ‘submucosal tunnels’were found.Diagnosis was intramucosal esophageal dissection. After 2 weeks' conservative treatment failed, we tired implantation of a covered mental stent, which worked well.
