Waugh’s syndrome: a rare cause of bowel obstruction in adults

Abstract
Waugh’s syndrome is the association of intussusception and intestinal malrotation, almost always reported in the pediatric population. We present images of a middle-aged adult with a large ileocolic intussusception in association with intestinal malrotation, the latter was concluded to be the underlying cause.
